Latvia Vehicle Graveyard

Before getting on the plane at Riga to go back to the UK after exploring or 8 days with Lauris and Alex, I made a last stop at this vehicle graveyard near the airport. This aviation museum represents the largest collection of military planes and vehicles in Europe. It includes a selection of old Soviet aircraft, featuring amongst them some very rare models of planes and helicopters. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, Riga Airport agreed to store the abandoned aircraft and as a result visitors are now able to view these antiquated historical relics for themselves.
