Professional Photographer of the Year 2009

On 1st January 2010 I found out that I have been awarded the title of Professional Photographer of the Year 2009 for the magazine Professional Photography Magazine. Of course this was fantastic news for me and I feel truly humbled to have been given this prestigious title.

There are a lot of photography competitions out there at the moment, but only one will give you the title of Professional Photographer of the Year, so don’t miss out, you know it makes sense.’

The award ceremony and exhibition of the winning entries and runners up is at the end of January, I’m very excited about the trip to New York that I have won, I received two awards, one for fashion photographer of the year and one for professional photographer of the year. 

In February I had my MA exhibition at The Mall Gallery in London, the private view night was brilliant, so many people turned up that at times it was hard to move! It was great to see my final MA project on the wall for people to see. Later in February I received the amazing news that I had got a distinction for my MA degree, which was fantastic news.
