UK Crookham Court

Crookham Court was built around the beginning of 14th century and destroyed in 1543, and Crookham House which was demolished in 1850. The construction of the building now started around this time and for the next 50 years. It has been a manor house and then a school. The US Air Force were in the area for a while and it became abounded when they left. But again it was bought in 1961 and was again used as a boring school until 1990, it has again been abandoned since 1990. In 1988 there was a case of child abuse at the school and it had apparently been going on for 03 years, it is very sad that the headmaster joined he school in 1987 and discovered it, that it was reported and three men were convicted including the owner of the building. 

Knowing this history when visiting made it a bit of a weird experience that something so tragic could happen in a place that should have been nice to go to school in, the actual building was beautiful with pastel walls, showing signs of rot and decay, but a strange feeling of peace, that the stores will be consumed by the onset of nature claiming back.
